Bard on the Beach
Celebrating its 21st season in 2010, Bard on the Beach is one of Canada's largest not-for-profit, professional Shakespeare Festivals.  Join in the romantic tragedy of Antoine & Cleopatra Passion and let’s passion, war and betrayal erupt within a spectacular backdrop of mountains, sea and sky.

Antoine & Cleopatra: Although the sensual Cleopatra has conquered the heart of Rome's greatest soldier, Mark Antony must choose between duty and desire. To secure a political alliance, he marries Octavia, Caesar's sister. His return to Egypt and Cleopatra ignites a war in which one of the world's great love stories plays out its final chapter.

Museum of Anthropology
Resting at the edge of the sea, on the lush campus of the University of British Columbia, the Museum of Anthropology is world-renowned for its ethnographic and archaelogical objects from around the world, many of which originate in particular from the Northwest Coast of British Columbia.
